These terms apply to the Paperback Ready add-on for Google Docs™, published by Dropzball. By installing or using it, you accept them.
Paperback Ready lays out the Google Doc you open it in as a paperback book interior, checks it against Amazon KDP's file requirements, and creates a PDF in your Google Drive. The free version includes the book check, as often as you like, and one print-ready PDF of a book that passes the KDP checks. Paperback Ready Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited PDFs for the email address used to buy it, with the licence key we email to that address, on up to five Google accounts.
You keep all rights to your writing. The add-on never changes your document; it only creates new PDF files in your own Google Drive when you ask it to. Images, tables and footnotes in your document are not included in the PDF; the add-on tells you when it skips them.
Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as the seller of record for the purchase, collects any applicable sales tax or VAT and issues your invoice. Prices are shown before purchase; taxes are added at checkout where they apply. If Paperback Ready Pro does not work for you, email us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full; Pro is then turned off for that purchase.
Do not try to bypass the licence check, resell access, or use the add-on to break the law or Google's terms.
Paperback Ready is provided "as is". Amazon decides whether a file is accepted and may change its requirements: always review the proof KDP shows you before publishing. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost data, rejected files or lost sales. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
We may update the add-on and these terms. Material changes will be announced on this page.
